Special Distribution
Special Distribution and Trucking: This function focuses on all the other non-routine or special assignments that are requested of the Warehouse and Distribution Department.
- Moving departments and furniture between sites
- Transfer of equipment and materials needed for programs and functions
- Pickup and delivery of facility/maintenance equipment for relocation or repair upon the receipt of a request from the appropriate shop or area supervisor
- Special delivery of physical education equipment
- Transportation of musical equipment for programs and graduations
- Removal of uneeded machinery and equipment assets from buildings for eventual reallocation or auction at the Jason Street Warehouse
- Delivery of equipment and supplies from Central Receiving
- Distribution of time sensitive documents and informational material as formally requested by deparments within the District
- Redistribution of assets requested from the Jason Street Warehouse
